Now this one is a biggie. It includes all of the social media & social search engine platforms, basically the social network. However, we’re not about to mention what the latest algorithm is doing, as it would make sense to try and ignore that as much as possible or even which one your ideal client hangs out on! We want to use all of them…
We want to talk about sharing quality content that you can share / use across multiple platforms that can be re-shared and re-purposed time and time again.
Who knows the phrase ‘Macro Content’? Well, let me give you an example.
Imagine you’re a mechanic! You create a blog around checking your vehicle over for the winter! We’d suggest pushing out content on your social platforms announcing the imminent arrival of your blog and once it’s LIVE. Then re-sharing after its Live, so everyone knows it’s there.
But don’t stop there! You could also create a video [YouTube] about that blog showing people how to check, you could strip the audio out for a podcast and share that out, whilst also making sure that any images go to Pinterest! The video could then be embedded into your blog and also put on IGTV and then linked to through all of the social platforms. You then also have the content of sharing about all of your shiny channels!
This example goes on and on and on and works for pretty much every industry…

One final thing, don’t forget to always make sure that your content is optimised, otherwise it’s not doing as much to get people to your website as you’re actually hoping it is..
