Imagine the scene: You walk into a room of 24 business owners. You immediately assume everyone else has a 7-figure turnover, a perfect team, and a coherent 5-year plan.
Meanwhile, you feel like a total mess.
This is the number one fear that stops people from booking experiences like Time and Space Morocco. We hear it all the time: “I’m worried everyone else will have it all figured out”.
Let’s bust that myth right now.
The “6-Figure” Lie
There is a huge misconception in our industry that retreats are only for “6-figure business owners trying to get to 7 figures”.
That is not what we are building.
Whether you are trying to make your first 4 figures or your first million, you are the CEO of your business. You wear all the hats…finance, marketing, operations, tea-maker [Hello!!] and that is exhausting regardless of your turnover.
We don’t curate the room based on your bank balance. We curate it based on your attitude.

Even the “Gurus” are struggling.
We recently heard a story about a client whose best friend is Daniel Priestley (yes, Key Person of Influence Daniel Priestley). And guess what? Even he feels time-poor and overwhelmed sometimes.
If the people on the biggest stages still struggle with the juggle of kids, business, and life, then you can stop beating yourself up for finding it hard too.
A Place for the “Weirdos”
We are proud to say that Yellow Tuxedo attracts the “misfits.” The square pegs in round holes.
At our last coffee morning, someone introduced themselves by saying, “I’m a bit of a weirdo,” and the whole room nodded and said, “I’m a weirdo too!”.
That is the energy we are taking to Morocco. We want diversity. We want randomness. We want real humans, not polished Instagram robots.
You aren’t coming to this trip to impress anyone. As our podcast notes hilariously put it: “You aren’t there to impress, you are there to undress.” (Metaphorically… please keep your clothes on, Alan).
So, if you feel like a mess? Good. You’ll fit right in.
